The end of an era!

And so I bid you all farewell!

Well that’s it, the blog competition ends today and to be honest I felt like I have not shut up for a whole month, hang on a minute, … Oh I haven’t shut up for a whole month!! Hehe! I have covered just about everything I have done with regards to modding and I hope that everybody has enjoyed their time here.

All that’s left to do is wish everybody good luck with the competition. I will leave you all with this final image of my mods together as one big happy family! :)

A big thank you goes out to everybody who read my blog and for all the great comments I received via the BTB forum. Cheers!! x

Frosty Fun.

Here is another image i have just created-

(If there is anything more silly than walking through snow bare foot it is standing in snow bare foot whilst trying to remove your tongue from an icy pole!!)

Stoned Marco.

Welcome back again,

Today I just wanted to post a picture of some graphic work I did with Marco. I used to love doing graphics at school but never had my own software until recently when I picked things back up again. I hope you like my stoned Marco! :)

Hornby!

Hey folks,

After yesterdays hectic posting i am going to be quick today. I have had a name suggestion for my railway mod that i think is utterly fab! Thanks to a suggestion by 'Fishy' my bear shall be proudly named 'Hornby'!

This morning i under-took my usual car boot challenge and sadly found no bad taste bears for sale. That's car boots for you, you never know what you are going to find, (if anything!). Perhaps i will have better luck next time.

Speak soon, Craig :)

Creating white ware - Fabio Part Two.

12:50 p.m. - Usually I would let bears soak at least half an hour before attacking them with a brush but this bear really did lose its colour fast and after about 15 minutes I started to brush it whilst still in the liquid. The paint slid of a treat and after just 20 minutes I have my second white ware! So, my advice would be to stick to doing the normal painted bears unless you like playing with rancid smelling liquids for prolonged amounts of time! Hehe. To clean the bears I have just washed them quickly with warm soapy water.

So there we have it, if you like white ware bears or have duplicates sitting around then give it a try! Thank you for your time and have a fab weekend!
P.s. I estimate that with 5 litres I can probably create about 30 white bears, that’s not bad for a tenner! Oh and with regards to naming my train track mod as mentioned yesterday I have already had a few names suggested including, Thomas, Percy and Harold! (I see a theme emerging here, hehe!)

Creating white ware - Fabio Part One.

12:25 p.m. - I have the female bear from Fabio and I am just going to place her in some thinners as I did Gilbert. Check back soon as these bears turn white pretty quickly!! :) (Oh and if anybody is wondering the bear was in the bag of damaged bears won by BTB’s, although she is just dirty and seems to be in perfect structural condition).

Creating white ware - Part Six.

12:15 p.m. - Hey presto!! He is finally finished. I think he looks fab amongst my other white ware and I hope you like him! (He took me 2hours and 35 bleeding minutes, hehe!!) That bear was not a good example at creating a white ware bear but as my updates have been live, (or as live as they can be taking into account time needed to type and upload photos); there is not much I can do about that. I will quickly do another bear to show you how easy a normal painted bear should be. Pop back in 10 minutes or so!
